The highly anticipated full trailer for James Gunn‘s Superman dropped today, and boy is it JAM PACKED full of action, giving us a great look at Supes’ friends and foes – and, of course, the incredibly cute dog.
The movie may be the latest superhero blockbuster everyone’s looking forward to, but it’s also a lot more than that; it’s also the start of DC Studios new era, under Gunn and Peter Safran, with a big screen debut that looks sure to pack a punch.
Seriously, I watched this trailer wondering how they managed to fit all of the below into the one film – Superman seems to be getting into scrapes from all sides (including with supervillains), stopping wars, bashing heads with Lex Luther, and… I’m particularly interested in the giant scaley monster, because of course I am.

Superman stars David Corenswet (Clark Kent/Superman), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor), Edi Gathegi (Michael Holt/Mister Terrific), Anthony Carrigan (Rex Mason/Metamorpho), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner/Green Lantern), and Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl).
The cast is also made up of Wendell Pierce (Perry White), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Pruitt Taylor Vince (Jonathan Kent), Frank Grillo (Rick Flag Sr.), and Milly Alcock (Kara Zor-El) who’s set to star in DC’s upcoming June 2026 release Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
And you’ll be able to watch Superman when it hits cinemas on 11th June.
